Quite a number of my friends own the Kindle and they all like it. I'm saving my money and plan to get mine once I saved enough money too.

Not sure if it helps, but here is the best review I've ever read about the Kindle and it makes me really want one:

And I know there is a website that you can get over 20,000 free books in Kindle format here:

Hope this helps you making the decision.

I own the Kindle 2 and I like it. I'm an avid reader, I got my Kindle a few months ago and I think I've read over 30 books with the Kindle. No glitches so far!

However, I've still bought one book in paper edition after I've the Kindle. It is not a common book so it is not available for the Kindle yet. It is just fine, because now I only need to reserve a little space in my bookshelf and I can expect most of my new books will be on the Kindle.

One thing I like the Kindle, is that sometimes when I've some time and don't know what to read, I'll just get a free book from the Kindle store. There are some really good books there, and I enjoy the reading very much.
(Thousands of free Kindle books)

BTW, I've given more opinions on why I like the Kindle in a previous answer here, see if you're interested:

Hope it helps :)

Personally I love kindle.I love reading and don't want to take heavy books everywhere.Kindle books price is cheaper and I don't think that amazon will to discontinue the books or program.
