Kindle DX is a one of its kind e-book reader set up by Amazon, which gives you access to over 275,000 ebooks available on Amazon. This e-book reader device contains 4 GB internal memory that can store over 3000 e-books quite easily. Kindle DX is almost like a pocket size library with professional and personal, all kinds of information stored in a small equipment.

With only 1/3 inch thickness, Kindle DX is as thin as it can get, offering you great convenience and use. Kindle DX will serve good especially for students, newspaper and magazine readers. The large 9.7" screen display makes reading comfortable for almost every kind of user.

The earlier version of Kindle reader built up by Amazon had some limitations which have been taken care by Kindle DX. While some people still believe that this is not an ultimate e-book reader, and there can be many more additions to this in the future, Kindle DX does surpass the old version e-book reader in terms of storage size, larger display and overall appearance.

One amongst the best features includes uninterrupted reading without the need of being charged upto two weeks with the aid of wireless connection. Another welcoming change is the inclusion of the native PDF support; saving you email to pdf conversion hassles. Just like the earlier versions, Kindle DX uses the e-ink technology and 16 shades of gray for text which are responsible for good, crisp images.

While the price seems eye-popping at $489, the features are pretty much upgraded compared to the earlier versions which makes people rush up to buy this product even at a whooping price of $489. The improved storage capacity of being able to store upto 3500 e-books has pretty much diminished the high cost impact.

Kindle DX is a great tool if you are looking for a portable and easy to use e-book reader. Amazon is definitely making some good efforts to get the best e-book reader out there in the market. However, despite all the good features associated with the product, there has been no improvement by Amazon in the connectivity issues that have overwhelmed some of the Kindle owners.
